Add to SEEK Pass and Verify with SEEK Pass

These guidelines provide partners with clear instructions on how to use SEEK Pass action buttons consistently across websites, platforms, and user flows.The SEEK Pass buttons support two actions:

1.
Add to SEEK Pass: used when users add or store an existing credential into SEEK Pass.
2.
Verify with SEEK Pass: used when users complete a verification step through SEEK Pass.

To maintain a consistent and trusted user experience, please follow the guidance below when using either button.

When to use each button

Use Add to SEEK Pass when:

Users are adding an existing digital credential from your platform (e.g., documents, certificates, test results).
The source credential is already issued by your system.
No verification is being performed within SEEK Pass — the item is simply stored and made re-usable.

Example: Add your English Proficiency certificate to SEEK Pass.

Use Verify with SEEK Pass when:

Users must complete a verification workflow through SEEK Pass.
Verification requires identity checks, data matching, or credentials validated at source.
The user is taken into SEEK Pass for a verification sequence (e.g., Digital ID, work licence verification).

Example: Verify your identity with SEEK Pass.

Usage guidelines

Use only approved icons, colours and themes (Brand accent / Neutral / Dark).
Keep all button proportions, padding and icon spacing consistent.
Use only approved translations from the regional variants list.
Ensure the CTA matches the correct action (Add vs Verify).
Position the SEEK Pass icon to the left of the text with proper padding.
Size your button to accommodate longer translated text.

Don't

Don’t recolour the button using your brand palette.
Don’t remove, replace or reposition the SEEK Pass tick icon.
Don’t change the text (e.g., “Add,” “Verify,” or “Verify now”).
Don’t use PMD-styled buttons in emails — these may not render reliably.
Don’t move the SEEK arrow icon into the text field or centre-align it.
Don’t hard-code button text; always use the text provided via the SEEK Pass API for correct branding and translations.

Button assets

Below are the approved button sets for both CTAs.Our pre-approved SEEK Pass button package is available in SVG and PNG formats for all platforms, ensuring scalability across different screen sizes and providing flexibility for the following themes:

Use PNG buttons in emailPlease use the PNG button asset in email as SVG files may not render consistently or at all in certain email clients.

These scalable SVG and PNG files are adaptable to your design system needs, supporting SEEK Pass, as well as standard and dark states. Regional button variations are available for Asia-Pacific regions.

Follow these guidelines when adding the SEEK Pass buttons to email communications:Use PNG format for compatibilityPNG button assets provide the best support across email clients. Avoid using SVG or other formats that may not render consistently.Set appropriate dimensionsThe PNG buttons with the _2x filename suffix within the .zip file downloads above are exported at twice the resolution for rendering on high-resolution displays. Set the width attribute to half the original size of the exported button.

Embed images inlineMany email clients block external images by default. To ensure your button displays immediately, attach the image as an inline resource using Content-ID (CID) embedding rather than linking to an external URL. This requires creating a multipart email with the image attached and referenced via the cid: scheme. The attachment should include these headers:

Creating a custom SEEK Pass button

Using a SEEK Pass-branded button is strongly recommended, as it helps users easily recognise and trust the SEEK brand, improving engagement.If you need to modify the button to match your app design, please follow these guidelines to ensure consistency with SEEK Pass branding.TextThe button text should align with the purpose of the button and be formatted according to the branding specifications. Ensure adequate padding to help legibility, and align text within the button for consistent spacing.SizeButtons can be resized as needed to fit various screen sizes, but it’s essential to preserve the aspect ratio to maintain the SEEK Pass design standards.

This text must appear above the CTA button to provide context and encourage engagement.
The wording must remain unchanged to ensure alignment with SEEK Pass messaging.
Ensure the copy is localised correctly based on the recipient's region.

Verified by SEEK Pass badge

Partners may use the Verified by SEEK Pass badge in marketing materials to highlight that a credential has been independently verified through SEEK Pass. This helps signal trust to employers and reinforces how verified credentials stand out on SEEK, Jobstreet and Jobsdb.

Badge variants

Recommended use cases

The badge may be used in:

Partner marketing pages showcasing verified qualifications

The badge should support a message of trust, authenticity and verification — not act as a call to action.

Usage guidelines

Use the badge only to represent credentials that have been verified through SEEK Pass.
Ensure the badge remains legible with sufficient contrast.
Use the correct badge variant based on the background.
Maintain the original proportions and padding.

Don't

Do not use the badge as a clickable button or CTA.
Do not recolour, restyle, or recreate the badge.
Do not place the badge on visually busy or low-contrast backgrounds.
